Home of the Placentia Lions one of the centerpieces of Placentia’s proud athletic culture is the Unity Parc Arena. This modern indoor stadium is designed to maximize the range of sporting and entertainment events. From hockey to curling, figure skating to power skating, power walking to birthday parties, Unity Parc fits the bill.

Ice Rental Rates are as follows:

  • Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm $90/hour
  • Monday – Friday 4:00pm – 11:00pm $132/hour
  • Saturday – Sunday 9:00am – 11:00pm $132/hour

All rates include HST.

Special Rates
Special rates are available for minor hockey, figure skating and school skating. Special rate is $115/hour including HST.

Warm Room Rental

The warm room can be rented at a cost of $25/hour for children’s birthday parties, provided the ice is also rented for one hour.

Cancellation Policy

One week notice is required for cancellation of any booking in excess of four (4) hours, i.e. tournaments, clinics, bonspiels etc. There will be no penalty for cancellations due to weather.

Skating Sessions

Family Skating – Sundays 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
Donation of a non-perishable food item for the local food bank.

General Skating – *Fridays 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
Donation of a non-perishable food item for the local food bank.

Off Peak Skating – Monday to Friday Daytime
$5 per person

Mandatory Helmet Policy

All skaters regardless of age are required to wear a CSA approved helmet during all ice activites. The only exception to this rule is figure skaters enrolled in the Skate Canada Program during their regular scheduled ice time.

Special Event Facility Rental Rates

Rates for special event facility rentals are $600/day plus any additional clean-up and security expenses.
