Voices of Placentia Bay Festival Rescheduled

(July 26, 2019 – Placentia, NL) Placentia 350 Inc., the organization responsible for the annual Voices of Placentia Bay Festival, wishes to advise that the festival events scheduled to take place from Friday, August 2, 2019 to Sunday, August 4, 2019 are now rescheduled to this Fall. Further information on the new dates for this annual community festival will be announced as plans are finalized.

Placentia 350 Inc. reached this decision upon considering the potential impacts that may be created by the present labour dispute between the Town of Placentia and its unionized employees.

Placentia 350 Inc. thanks its sponsors, community partners and volunteers, performers and patrons for their understanding. The committee looks forward to working with all partners to hold the festival later this year.
