Winter Carnival will be held February 21 – 28th.
Sunday, February 21
Wear your Team Canada colours!
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Street Hockey in the Town Square. Ages 10-15 (Sponsored by the Recreation Commission)
4:00 p.m. Opening Ceremonies at Unity PARC Arena followed by Figure Skating performance, Squirt Minor Hockey Game
5:00 p.m. Costume Skating (Free Admission)
Enter our Chili Bake-off Competition or be a Taste Tester for just one dollar. (All proceeds go to the local food bank!)
Monday, February 22
Wear blue to symbolize the blue Olympic ring!
School Skating (Sponsored by Jerseyside Ferndale Come Home Year Committee)
9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Stepping Stones Program for children two and under.
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Stepping Stones Program for children six and under. Craft: Paint your own Olympic Ring Flag.
3:15 Laval Student/Teacher Hockey Game at Unity PARC
8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Freshwater Golden Seniors Club Card Game (Sponsored by FCC and Winter Carnival Committee - $100 in prizes, soup and sandwiches will be served)

1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Stepping Stones Olympic “Paper Torch” Relay at the Star of the Sea Hall for children four to six and parents. Milk and cookies to follow.
6:00 p.m. Snow Themed Movie at the P4 with popcorn and juice. (Free admission)
7:30 p.m. Placentia Council Meeting
