27th Annual Children’s Wish Tree
The Placentia Detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police invites you to support the RCMP/Children’s Wish Tree.
In November we will be erecting a large Christmas Tree in front of the RCMP Detachment in Placentia which will be initially lit with red lights. Through your donations we will change these red lights to white lights. Please help us to make this a truly “White Christmas”! All you have to do is make a donation!
Any donation large or small will go a long way in bringing happiness to a child with a life threatening illness. For every $25.00 raised we will turn a red light to white with all money raised going directly to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
Donations should be made payable to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and can be dropped off or mailed directly to the:
RCMP Detachment at
PLACENTIA RCMP P.O. Box 160 – 72 Prince William Drive,
PLACENTIA NL A0B 2Y0
Each wish request is as unique as our wish children. In the past year we have already completed 38 wishes but we have another 68 we are working on and we need your help to make sure these wishes come true!
The official Tree lighting will take place on November 17th, 2017 at 7:00 P.M the RCMP Detachment in Placentia. All are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please contact the detachment at (709) 227-2000 ext 3. Please help us make this a Joyous Christmas for all those children who suffer from life threatening illnesses and make your gift a child’s wish this Christmas!
